THUMS® Injury Risk Visualization tool Ver.0.5 has been released
We are delighted to announce the update of THUMS® Injury Risk Visualization tool.
- Major updates are as shown below:
- ・Compatible with all THUMS® sizes, versions, and initial postures published by Toyota Motor Corporation
- ・Started providing a tool to automatically generate head accelerometers
- ・Head injury criteria BrIC is now availabled
What is the THUMS® Injury Risk Visualization tool ?
THUMS® Injury Risk Visualization tool (IRV) is visualization tool to see injury risks of HBM (human body model) and investigate risk curves to evaluate actual human body injury.
Anyone (not only JSOL users but all THUMS® users) can use this tool for free by registering.
User Registration (Japanese site)
This tool consists from two programs (a CLI program and a web application). CLI (Command Line Interface) program is to extract some data from Ansys LS-DYNA calculation result (d3plot) and output CSV file for the web application. The web application can visualize the injury risk on the HBM skeleton, show some criteria for risk evaluation and investigate a risk curve parameter.
