Below is an example of the simulation of forming a trunk lid inner panel (an inner-body sheet part of an automobile). Variance in formability is evaluated based on the material, holder pressure, and amount of springback.

In this simulation, a die and a holder pass through a blank sheet. The calculation time is shortened by separating the draw process from the steps having less deformation and by modifying the element properties.
